Role Description
Are you a SuperHero in your community? The world needs more Caregivers like you willing to serve at a time like this! We are offering an opportunity to work many hours (probably full-time and maybe some Overtime) in the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area. The minimum requirement is to have an HCA (Home Care Aide) certification and Washington state gives you a grace period of 120 days to work while you’re pursuing your certification. It is highly desired for you to have a CNA and we will pay you $1 more per hour if you earn your CNA.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities
You will be visiting our Clients in their homes to care for them. They may require anything from simple companionship to running some errands with them to light housework to acts of daily living (ADLs) which could include assistance getting them in and out of bed, helping them get dressed, bathed, toileted or fed. Most of our Clients are recovering from a fall or surgery and need a helping hand on their road to recovery.

The minimum requirement is to have an HCA (Home Care Aide) certification. It is highly desired for you to have a CNA. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Give medications and immunizations
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
- Act as a backup Caregiver
- Eventually train and mentor other Caregivers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from an accredited Home Care Aide (HCA) or CNA program
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year prior professional experience
- Driver’s license required
- CPR certification required
